The New York Luxury Suites, a magnificent hotel that shares the feeling of living in a New York type of apartment. This complex is a historic building that's located on the east side of Corfu's Old Town, right next to the main road with beautiful views of the sea, some historical views of the Neo Frourio, the Old Port and surrounded by the old buildings of Corfu Town. We have made blissful summer memories that will last forever during our trip to Corfu in October 2022. In this article I will share my opinion about the complex and reasons why this complex would be a great fit for when you are booking a summer holiday to Corfu.

The concept
The New York Luxury Suites is a building that was constructed at the early year of the 20th century and was intended to be a hotel. It operated for almost half a century under the name 'New York'. The former 'New York' in Corfu had Art Deco features, which at that time suited great into the architectural trend in America and France. However, in 2022 the building was completely renovated. Hence, it remained its original architectural character and was relaunched as a tourist accommodation. The building was reborn as a luxury complex of suites.
The current concept includes the former name 'New York', but added 'New York Luxury Suites', with four floors, nine apartment suites in total. The style of the interior is particularly a mix of modern, soft colors and quirky patterns can be found on the wall of the bedrooms.
The Rooms
The New York Luxury Suites have a certain wow factor and are one of the most impressive rooms we have ever seen, when it comes to how spacious they are. With their prestigious wall-paper it resembles a warm luxurious feeling. The sheets are made of linen and adds a great feeling of comfort after a long day wandering through the city.
The Food
During our stay we have not tried any foods of the New York Luxury Suites kitchen. However, it is possible to order breakfast in the room every morning. This has to be arranged the night before. Hence, there are so many great restaurants to eat and can be found all over the Corfu Old Town. In case you want to stay in and have lunch or dinner at the room, it is also possible to cook something yourself. The freedom of deciding whether you want to eat at your room is a treat itself! When you are staying here do not forget to enjoy the balcony at your room or in case you are staying at the top floor, make sure to visit the roof top terrace and enjoy the night there by watching the stars.
The services
When we arrived at the New York Luxury Suites we entered a refreshing clean building. It smelled so good, a very nice fragrance which gives you a true summer feeling. The reception area is quite small, but this does not take away the great service they offer. There's no lack of any detail in terms of welcoming their guests. In case you need to leave your luggage when checking out, they got you covered. There are lockers with each a secured code to make sure your suitcases are safe. There's plenty of space to fit one large suitcase, 2 backpacks and perhaps a neck pillow or something small.

The Location
For those who want to visit the new fortress, do not worry, because it is just a few steps away. As there are many tourist activities close by and you will find a range of various restaurants just around the corner. Also, a lot of popular activities are on a walking distance.
